Build progress

With prototype builds of this kind there are always changes along the way. While working on the drone positioning spec, we realised that our UAV may need to move in a way that only forward flight may not allow. Fortunately it was a very simple modification to change from fixed VTOL to a tilt rotor VTOL quad plane.

Prototype Tilt Mount

We had to design custom mount for the servos and after some trial and error, the final aluminium mounts are in production.

We have opted for Tilt Servos from LewanSoul aka LOBOT.

The Prototype is using 17kg/cm versions and the final production UAVs will move to 20kg/cm servos.
